Service overview

A China-side visit can answer questions that are difficult to resolve through catalogues and messages. It can provide visual context around a supplier, market, showroom, product display, packaging area, or production environment. The value comes from a clear visit brief and a structured record, not simply from being physically present.

YIMO can coordinate timing and local communication, follow a buyer-approved question list, and prepare notes, photographs, or video where access and permission allow. Observations remain clearly described as observations. A coordination visit is not presented as a certified audit or specialist inspection unless those services have been separately defined.

01

Overseas buyers who cannot visit a supplier, showroom, or wholesale market in person.

02

Projects that need visual context before requesting samples or negotiating changes.

03

Buyers who want a local follow-up meeting documented against a prepared question list.

Why it matters

Overseas buyers may need visual context or local follow-up before deciding what to ask next. A visit is most useful when it starts with a clear purpose and produces a clear record.

04

What YIMO can organize

  • Clarify the purpose, location, products, and questions for a proposed visit.
  • Coordinate available timing and China-side communication.
  • Record relevant visible details through notes, photographs, or video where permission allows.
  • Summarize findings, unresolved questions, and next actions for the buyer.

What the buyer provides

  • 01Supplier, market, showroom, or location information
  • 02The specific products and questions to focus on
  • 03Any required format for the visit record

How the work moves

A visible sequence from request to buyer decision.

  1. 01

    Set the visit purpose

Define the location, contact, products, priority questions, permitted records, and the specific decision the visit should help the buyer make.

  2. 02

    Confirm access and timing

Coordinate the date, responsible contacts, photography or video permission, available product versions, and any information the supplier must prepare.

  3. 03

    Follow the approved brief

Use a numbered checklist so product, packaging, equipment, communication, or document questions are addressed consistently during the visit.

  4. 04

    Record visible facts

Capture contextual and close-detail images where allowed, note which areas were seen, and avoid describing inaccessible or unverified areas as confirmed.

  5. 05

    Report and follow up

Summarize observations, supplier answers, missing evidence, disagreements, and the next actions requiring buyer or supplier decisions.

Working example

Example: a showroom visit before choosing samples

A buyer considering several product styles may not need a full factory audit at the first stage. YIMO can visit the agreed showroom, photograph available variants, record material and packaging answers, and identify which versions can be sampled. The report helps the buyer reduce the sample list while clearly stating that showroom observations do not verify mass-production capacity or formal compliance.

Common questions

Know what the service does—and what still needs confirmation.

01Is a China-side visit the same as a factory audit?

No. A general visit provides agreed observations and communication support. A formal audit requires a defined standard, qualified auditor, evidence requirements, and an issued report.

02Can the buyer join by video call?

A live call can be coordinated when the supplier, location, connection, timing, and recording permissions allow. A written question list is still useful because connectivity or access may limit the live session.

03Will every area be photographed?

Only areas and items that are accessible and permitted. The final record should identify any requested evidence that could not be obtained.

Scope boundary

A coordination visit is not automatically a formal factory audit, laboratory test, legal inspection, or certification review. Any specialist verification requires separate confirmation.
